Use of Reid™ Graphic Concrete technology.

This pattern or image on the precast concrete surface was achieved using  the "Graphic Concrete" technique, available from Reid™. This method uses a patented technology where a surface retarder is printed onto a special membrane reflecting the required pattern. The precast concrete is then cast onto this membrane. Looking closely at the panel surface, this process has created thousands of small exposed aggregate leaf shapes, which overall create the linear & wave shape as viewed.  The concrete used included a white oxide to better contrast the pattern. The custom design was created by the Upton architects. This method provides an almost unlimited scope for creating images on precast concrete surfaces.  Examples can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoKiXIPHnkI
