Insulated Panels

Insulated concrete panels combine the energy efficiency of insulation with the thermal mass and and structural integrity of concrete, plus providing any range of architectural finishes to the outer face of the panel.  Typically Concretec uses the Ramsetreid Nirvana®  system, which has an insulation layer of styrene sandwiched and locked between a structural and outer (architectural) layers of concrete using proprietary Nirvana® connector pins.  The internal concrete wall provides the structural strength and thermal mass, the insulation layer reduces flow of heat energy into or out of this thermal mass, and the external wall provides physical protection to the insulation layer. These panels can be used in a variety buildings including residential housing, commercial construction, offices, schools etc.  Total thickness of the panel is usually 240mm to 280mm.
